The piano-laden track is a duet with Gwen Stefani, frontman Adam Levine’s Voice co-star who scored the only guest spot on V.
The track, released today (July 29) as a promotional single, continues the band recent penchant for mid-tempo, slow-burning tunes, somewhat in the vein of “Maps.”
“Maps,” “Sugar,” “New Love” — these are just a few of the songs that will appear on Maroon 5’s V, out in September.
For the “Maps” music video, Maroon 5 tell us a story in reverse. Interestingly, it’s the story of a cheating cad as played by Adam Levine.
Maroon 5 comes to New York City tonight for a show at the Bowery Ballroom, but you don’t have to be there to catch all the action.
Maroon 5 shall waste no time for their Interscope Records debut — the band will release their first album on the label this September.

The Maroon 5 frontman signed Morrison to his label 222 Records and enlisted legendary producer Phil Ramone, who worked with everyone from Frank Sinatra to Barbra Streisand to Billy Joel before passing away earlier this year.
