Bad news for HGTV and Food Network lovers — you won’t be able to watch “Chopped,” “Fixer Upper” or other favorites on Netflix after the end of the year.
Fox News reports that Scripps Network Interactive — the company behind HGTV, Food Network, DIY, the Cooking Channel and the Travel Channel — is opting NOT to renew its partnership deal with the streaming service.
The company will part ways with Netflix at the end of 2016.
A source told Fox the decision means no new episodes of Scripps shows will be added to Netflix, and shows currently on the streaming service will no longer be available.
COO Ken Lowe explained that Scripps Network Interactive is “big enough,” and it doesn’t want to limit itself with a streaming partnership.
