I had a lot of fun on this one. We went to the Here Today in Fairview Heights to pay for some customers carts. Most people don’t know what I look like since I’m on the radio. So I pretended to be a “cashier in training” on my first day. Most people thought I was super annoying until I paid for their stuff. Hahahaha. Thanks to Justice, the cashier “training” me.
But that isn’t where the story ends!!! After we were done, one of the ladies that went through our line (the last lady in the video) posted on the KEZK Facebook page. She was there that day to buy blankets and other things for the homeless!!!! And we just happened to be there and paid for it. Things have a way of working themselves out, don’t they?? If you believe everything happens for a reason or being at the right place at the right time, this is a really good example.
Thanks again to GCS Credit Union for helping us spread a little kindness this year. Huge thanks to Here Today and Justice for letting us “annoy” their customers. And finally to Jamie Springer in our web department for doing all of the hard work!
