Trish’s Trash: SAG Awards and Tom Cruise Forced to Divorce Nicole?

This story has always intrigued me, the divorce of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. And now a new documentary about the Church of Scientology claims the organization actively orchestrated the breakup of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Going Clear, which premiered at Sundance over the weekend, alleges that the Church used a number of intimidation tactics to force the couple’s split, including wiretapping Kidman’s phone (at Cruise’s suggestion) and sending the tapes to Church head David Miscavige. In the doc, Marty Rathbun, who left the Church in 2004, admits, “I was to facilitate the breakup with Nicole Kidman.” Going Clear also claims that the Church went to great pains to accommodate Cruise’s every fantasy, including once designing a meadow for him and Kidman to run through. Things must be getting serious between Sean Penn and Charlize Theron. Sources say he has filed paperwork to adopt her son. Source say her 3-year-old son Jackson already calls him Daddy and that this is the first step toward them getting married. Theron adopted Jackson in 2012 when he was about 4 months old.

Another award show last night as we make our way to the Academy Awards. But last night it was the Screen Actor Guild Awards. Some of the highlights:
