Last night at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes in Hollywood, Michael Keaton won for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for this role in “Birdman.”
His speech was very heartfelt, humble and poignant. He talked about being one of seven children. He said he never remembered when his father wasn’t working two jobs, his mother worked and volunteered at a hospital.
He then went on to thank his son, who he called his best friend. That’s when things really got emotional.
Here is Michael Keaton’s acceptance speech in total.
