Montana Renames Mountain After Paul McCartney

As you may or may not have heard, over the weekend Minnesota deemed August 2 as Paul McCartney Day in honor of his first stop in the state in over a decade. Well, Montana is pissed.

Maybe not pissed, and probably in no way related to Minnesota’s decision at all, but Montana is doing a little honoring of Macca themselves, Consequence of Sound reports, as they have temporarily renamed their Mount Sentinel to be Mount McCartney in honor of the Tuesday night gig at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula.

The mountain features a giant white “M” that will stand for McCartney until the morning of August 6.
