Two-year-old Kayden Elijah Kinckle had his right foot and left leg amputated in January.

His spirit however, as you’ll see, remains intact.

Kayden recently took his first steps on his new prosthetics with the aid of a walker.

In the video posted to YouTube (and seen below) by his mother, the little boy bears a huge grin, exclaiming “I got it!” with each step he takes.

According to CBS News,

“Along with the YouTube video, his mother posted the story of Kayden’s spirited triumph over a series of health problems. While in utero, Kayden developed a condition called omphalocele, a kind of abdominal wall defect that causes the intestines, liver, bladder and sometimes other organs to develop outside the body. Doctors told Kayden’s mother, Nikki, that he wouldn’t survive and recommended she terminate the pregnancy. She also learned that the umbilical cord was wrapped around his feet and pinned under her pelvic bone. But Mom wouldn’t give up and the little boy has certainly defied the odds.”

Yes, he has.

BTW, a fund has been set up to help Kayden’s family with the costs of his medical treatments.  Find out more by clicking HERE.
