The term Polar Vortex is one that we’ve all come to know over the past few days.  12 inches of snow throughout the area and the kind of wind chill that will freeze pipes as well as the human spirit.

For some, it meant digging their cars out from underneath a foot of snow.

For others,  (like me) it’s just a matter of keeping the kids occupied and engaged for yet another day stuck indoors over what has become the longest “winter break” in human history.

Finally, there are those sad souls who relish the opportunity to post their “I’m so glad to live in Florida/California” updates on your social media feed.

These kind of storms are nothing to dismiss either.  Check out these awesome time-lapse videos taken over the past 24 hours.
