OK,  I’m now officially a fan of the Buckeyes…

College athletics and namely college football has received a lot of bad press lately.

Here’s proof  though that there are  good kids involved in sports as well.

Dom Tiberi, sports director at the CBS affiliate in Columbus suffered a terrible tragedy recently as his 21-year-old daughter died in a car crash on Sept. 17.

That Saturday, Ohio State honored the local legend with a moment of silence before its game.

Tiberi returned to Ohio Stadium for this weekend’s win over Wisconsin, and as the players left the field, nearly every Buckeye welcomed him back with a hug.

I defy you to watch this video and not get a lump in your throat.  They lived up to the whole THE Ohio State University thing here.
