This has been a great Summer concert season in St. Louis.   Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson are kicking off their tour this evening and Bruno Mars is playing Scottrade Center on August 8th.

Rolling Stone recently put together their list of the 50 Best Live Bands. To come up with the list, they asked a panel of writers, industry figures and artists to vote on their favorite live performers at this time.

To be eligible for this, a performer must have toured within the last five years . . . and NOT announced their retirement.

The top 5 are:

1.) Bruce Springsteen

3.) The Rolling Stones

4.) Arcade Fire

5.) Neil Young

What’s #1 on your list?   Let us know in the comments section below.

(BTW, The Rolling Stones video below was from a show they played here in St. Louis in 1997 at the Edward Jones Dome)
