We’ve all been there–you’re getting yourself and the kids ready to leave in the morning. It’s easy to end up preoccupied by any number of factors (screaming kids, big meeting at work you’re not prepared for, etc) and drive away with something on top of your car. I do this sort of thing on a regular basis–coffee cups, wallets, breakfasts…they’ve all gone flying off the top of my hood at various points.
There’s nothing quite like having to explain to the other parents at your kid’s school that it really is “just oatmeal” on your windshield.
If you haven’t seen it, there’s a video from a couple of months ago that’s making the rounds online. It’s a guy on a motorcycle who notices that the woman driving in front of him left her COFFEE CUP on her bumper.
Somehow, he manages to swing past at a pretty high-speed, snag the cup, follow the woman, and give it back to her . . . all while they’re both still moving. He grabs the cup at :30.)
