Josh Groban is hitting the road this fall, but he’s doing it in a totally different way.
Groban’s upcoming “In The Round Tour” will place him in the middle of all the action ,thanks to a 360-degree stage. This new layout will allow him to interact with fans from all sides as he performs hits from his six studio albums including his latest release, All That Echoes.
The main goal for Groban is to translate the intimacy of a theater performance into an arena setting.
“I have always had moments during the show where I walked through the crowd and interacted with the fans,” he said. “I felt that now was the time to bring it all together.”
The tour kicks off on October 2 in Boise, Idaho, making stops along the way in Chicago, Boston and Phoenix, Arizona. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday (May 10).
