I’m so excited about the show NBC has in the works. Produced by Sean Hayes (Will and Grace), it’s called “Hollywood Game Night” and Deadline reports that they have already signed up some celebs. Usually when you get a show with supposed celebrities it’s C-list or even D-list “actors.” Not the case with this new show…Jason Bateman, Amy Poehler, Kristen Bell, Matthew Perry, Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, Martin Short, Molly Shannon, Minnie Driver and Kristin Chenoweth have supposedly agreed to participate. And many more celebs are in the works. The Hollywood Reporter says the show is said to have been inspired by real-life celebrity parties hosted by Game Night executive producer Sean Hayes. They would play games like “putting Michael Jackson’s faces in chronological order.” Tom Hanks called one of these parties the most fun evening he’s ever had.
According to Deadline: “In each episode, two contestants will be treated to a night of fun and celebration where they get to rub shoulders with the celebrity crowd. At the end, one of the contestants will walk away with a cash prize and a night of stories and memories.” No premiere date yet but I’ll let you know. It sounds like sooo much fun!!
