Paris Hilton has been called a lot of things, but ‘heifer’ is certainly not one of them.
After the heiress recently packed on twenty (well needed, in my humble opinion) pounds, rumors started to circulate through the tabloids that she was pregnant.
Alas, there will be no new little Hilton’s entering the world anytime soon, the weight gain was actually intended.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Hilton admitted that her skinny stature came from some seriously bad eating habits: “I’d been to every incredible party in the world,” Hilton, 30, told the magazine. “But I was going out with my girlfriends and dancing, having a lot of coffee and Red Bull. Being on the go, I would just grab fast food or skip meals because I was busy.”
When Paris’s weight dropped to 105lbs (she’s 5’8″), Paris’s mother Kathy began to worry, eventually telling Paris she was “too skinny” and that “It’s not normal.” It was boyfriend, Cy Waits, that changed Paris’s health habits for good.
The former nightclub owner/boyfriend to the stars apparently knows a thing or two about healthy living. “He explained everything to me,” Hilton told People. “Now I only eat organic foods when we’re at home. He makes me watch documentaries on food, like Fast Food Nation, and he makes me aware of what things are good for your body because he’s very into that.”
When Hilton’s weight increased to 125lbs (a weight that is considered normal in regard to Body Mass Index) pregnancy rumors surrounded her. The pressure to be thin in Hollywood returned, and Hilton lost ten of her newly acquired pounds. Now at 115lbs, Hilton says, “Even if I’m a few pounds overweight, people will be like, ‘oh, she’s fat… And it’s not fair that it’s like that, but it is.”
Don’t worry Paris, you’re far from overweight.
