A Little Pink Won’t Kill Ya!
With Memorial Day this coming Monday, this Memorial Weekend is going to have the grills fired up in full swing. Now, one of my favorite things to throw on the grill is pork. There is nothing better than throwing a few pork chops or a nice pork butt on the grill and attending to it until it is perfect! Here is a special pork tip this weekend from the pork experts!
According to Yahoo, the standards for cooking pork has changed. The gold standard of cooking pork used to be 160 degrees, but has been changed to 145 degrees, which leaves a little pink in the middle! With this, I thought I would test out my pulled pork recipe with that little added pink!
