Singer [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm] recently announced that she would be revealing a surprise upon appearing on Oprah this week.
The songstress, 26, appeared as a guest on Oprah’s “Ultimate After-Oscar Party” episode, which aired Monday. Perry teased fans by admitting that she would be unveiling a surprise while appearing on the famed television series, which is currently filming it’s final season.
Perry took to the shows stage and revealed the ‘big secret’ – she would be performing her hit song “Firework” with the help of… the P.S. 22 choir of fifth-graders from Staten Island, New York! The choir performed the night before at the 83rd Academy Awards show.
