Tyler’s autobiography, Does the Noise In My Head Bother You?, hits book stores May 11. Tyler says the book will be an intensely personal chronicle of his entire life and career.
“This is the unbridled truth, the in-your-face, up-close and prodigious tale of Steven Tyler straight from the horse’s lips,” Tyler says of the autobiography.
In related Aerosmith news, Joe Perry has finally spoken up about the rumors that he had left or fallen out with the band in recent months following reports that he was MIA at a recent writing session for Aerosmith’s new album.
Perry dispelled the rumors via his Twitter account @admiralperry, saying “I am in Aerosmith. I am not going anywhere.”
He continued by clarifying that he simply couldn’t make the writing sessions, which only lasted eight days, due to a prior commitment, and all is well with the band, who intend to get out their new album by the end of the year.
“Steven and I text all of the time. He’s my brother in arms just like Brad, Joey, and Tom,” Perry added in his message to fans.
So if you were ready to explode over Aerosmith breaking up or being in turmoil, you can exhale. The band is alive and well, and ready to pump out new material.
