Ok…I’m half Mexican by blood, but 100% American. Fact: 2010 is the year of the Bicentennial Celebrations in Mexico. Mexico is commemorating 200 years of Independence from Spanish rule and 100 years of its revolution that began in 1910 and toppled dictator Porfirio Diaz. Yet, in America, more margaritas are consumed, more attention is made and more celebration happens on the 5th of May…which is actually the date in 1862 when the Mexican army won a battle against the French…not really Mexican Independence Day…I have a question for you.
