A sixth parole hearing for John Lennon’s killer and former maintenance man from Hawaii Mark David Chapman, 55, is on the books at Attica Correctional Facility, the upstate New York prison where he is currently serving a sentence of 20 years to life for shooting Lennon four times Dec. 8, 1980. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Tuesday, said Marc Violette, Division of Parole spokesman. He was not more specific, he said, because Chapman is one of many parolees with interviews scheduled for this week and it is not known when the two-member interviewing panel will actually get to his interview.
